Joris Teeuwen

I'm a Dutchman who was raised in France. My early exposure to different cultures put me on an international path which led me to work in several different countries around the world. I was employed by multinationals in Europe, the Americas and Asia, where I worked closely with colleagues and customers from many different cultures and backgrounds.
In 1996 I moved to the Netherlands to study psychology at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. A few years later, I joined the NAP to become a licensed therapist.

In my practice I offer counseling and therapy in four languages.
Through regular work-study groups with colleagues (known in Holland as Intervisie) and supervision from the NAP, I ensure that my therapeutic and professional skills are maintained and continuously deepened.
